Author Karen K. Satterlee

Karen K. Satterlee served as a Salvation Army officer(pastor) for 42 years. She served, along with her husband Phil, in 15 different communities in the Northeast area of the United States.

Stepping Out of the Pages is her first book, and is a compilation of 33 Biblical monologues she wrote and performed and/or directed during the course of her active ministry years.

She introduces in the book several unnamed characters of the Bible - such as the mother of the prodigal son, a servant girl present at the Wedding Banquet, and the wife of the Innkeeper of Bethlehem.

While some of the storylines are fictional, the Bible truths and facts have not been compromised or altered. Karen delights in making people of the Bible "come alive" to her readers. The book includes a study guide for each chapter, enabling the reader to use it for personal or small group Bible study purposes.
